A word from the Founders:

Essentially Refreshed is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established with a heart to serve and uplift elementary and middle school students and their families by meeting essential needs with compassion and dignity. Guided by our faith, we provide personal hygiene items, household cleaning products, and laundry supplies to help families thrive and maintain healthy living environments. These essentials are distributed quarterly to each household.

In addition, we are committed to ensuring that every child can walk confidently into school, providing clothing for school-aged children in each household twice during the school year. Through acts of service and love, we strive to bring hope, restore dignity, and remind every family that they are seen, valued, and supported.

Our initial goal is to partner with every elementary and middle school in Wake and Durham Counties, extending our support to families in need and helping students start each school year with confidence and dignity.

The purposes of this organization is:

We support local families in need by providing essential household items and personal hygiene products through local schools. To help children begin the school year with confidence, we also provide each child with a brand-new clothing refresh, giving them the items they need to thrive in school and succeed in their education.
